A family of restaurateurs from Aschheim plans to build a year-round campsite with 150 pitches between Klausnerstrasse and Lake Heimstetten, known locally as "Fidschi" or "Fitsche." The building committee approved the project by a 6:5 vote. The site is currently designated as a green zone, so a change to the land-use and development plan is needed, at the applicant's expense.
The campsite will include caravan pitches, tent meadows, a picnic area, a playground, sanitary facilities, and e-bike rental. It would be the first campsite in the Munich district.
