Fritz Berger, a camping equipment specialist, will open a new store in Werl on Soester Straße. The roughly 1000-square-metre premises are located in the former Hellweg hardware hypermarket. The opening is planned for the start of the 2027 season.
The new store will fill a gap between existing Berger locations in Witten and Paderborn, which are 45–60 minutes away by car. It will employ 6–8 staff. The range will include camping furniture, awnings, canopies, household and outdoor goods, appliances, gas equipment and car accessories.
Sagaflor is also involved in the project with a garden market and pet shop.
