Four campsites from Mid Wales (according to Mid Wales Tourism) and four from Powys (according to Brecon & Radnor Express) have been named in the annual ranking of the UK's 150 best camping, glamping and motorhome sites by Campsites.co.uk for 2026.
According to the sources, the Mid Wales list includes Meadow Springs Country and Leisure Park, Spring Rock Holidays, Woodlands Caravan Park and Nyth Robin. Woodlands Caravan Park received a rating of 4.9 out of 5, while Nyth Robin scored 4.92. The Powys list features Bryndu Caravan and Camping, Cwmdu Campsite, Lakeside Caravan Park and Spring Rock Holidays. Lakeside Caravan Park is located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, next to Llangorse Lake, and offers water sports, a café and a bar. Cwmdu Campsite, a family-run business, has previously won awards from Campsites.co.uk as the best campsite in Wales. Spring Rock Holidays appears in both lists.
