The Llanes municipality completed expansion works in the last week of September on the special transit motorhome area on Avenida de la Tala in the western part of town. Eleven new pitches were added to the existing 19, bringing total capacity to 30. The works, awarded for 115,821.52 euros, included upgrading the stormwater drainage network, relocating lighting projectors and extending the perimeter fence. A new access control system was installed for 23,685 euros, featuring two automatic barriers, license plate recognition cameras and a welcome totem with QR code. A web page and mobile app will allow users to make reservations and access multilingual tourist information 24/7.
