Chilgok County has announced plans to build a caravan campsite at the existing Chilgokbo auto-camping site on the Nakdong River. The project, budgeted at about 4 billion won, is scheduled for completion by 2028. The 26,000 sq m site will include 20 premium caravans for 2 and 4–6 people, a multi-purpose plaza and an RC car track. In September the county requested river-use permission from the Nakdong River Basin Environmental Office. The aim is to add caravan accommodation to tent-based camping and support the local economy.
