Sinan County, in partnership with the Art Island Foundation, will run the 2026 Sinan Seom Car pilot project from 31 March to 28 December. The scheme lets visitors rent a camper van to tour the county's islands and stay overnight in the vehicle. Users can pick up a van near Mokpo Station, drive around several islands and return it to the same location. The vans are equipped with camping tables and cooking utensils. On weekdays, users can get a 10–30% discount on KTX high-speed rail fares. Bookings are available online or by phone. The county says the project is designed to ease transport and accommodation difficulties specific to island travel and to extend visitor stays.
