Drone delivery at Yeongjuho campsite
Yeongju City has launched drone delivery of fresh food for visitors to the auto campsite at Yeongjuho Lake. The service operates from October 3 to November 29 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 18:00. Orders are accepted via the 'Mokkkebi' app, and a drone delivers to a pickup point at the campsite.
The project is carried out in cooperation with Yeongju Nonghyup Farmers Market and the public delivery app 'Meokkkebi'. Orders placed by 16:00 are delivered by drone by 18:00. This year, drones can carry loads of up to 7 kg over a distance of up to 20 km, expanding the food delivery zone.
According to one source, the project is part of the 2026 drone demonstration city programme. Currently, 8 drone delivery points and about 20 partner stores operate in Yeongju and Seochon.
