Yeongjuho Camping Site Opens Summer Season with New Caravans and Water Attractions

Yeongju Lake Auto Campground in Pyeongeun-myeon, Yeongju, has completed summer preparations. Water play facilities will operate from July 3 to August 23. The site added modern restrooms, photo zones, and replaced 11 of 20 old caravans with new models.

The city of Seongnam, South Korea, started offering free reusable tableware to visitors of the Yuldong Park auto camping site on July 3. The service is available on weekends, with 50 sets provided daily.

Hwamaesan Forest Camping in Hapcheon County (South Gyeongsang Province) will operate without days off from July 20 to August 23. From July 1, caravan rental prices for couples have been reduced, and loyalty program discounts have been introduced.

Karcher has introduced the OC Handheld Compact, a battery-powered portable pressure washer designed for cleaning bicycles, camping equipment, and footwear at outdoor activity sites. Weighing 800 g, it delivers up to 15 bar pressure and can run for up to 30 minutes in eco mode. An Adventure version with a folding water tank and carry bag is also available.

Paju City announced the completion of a kids camping land at the Gongneung tourist site in Jori-eup by the end of next year. The project secured 4.6 billion won (about $3.5 million) in state funding under a special regional development program. The 26,100 sq m site will include 30 auto-camping spots, 16 campnic sites, and 20 caravans. Old buildings will be renovated for restrooms and showers, and additional playgrounds may be added after design work finishes.
