From 17 October to 15 November 2026, Umbria will host the Frantoi Aperti festival dedicated to new extra virgin olive oil. The programme includes five weekends with visits to working olive mills, a concert by the Orchestra of the European Philharmonic Academy of Santa Cecilia on 17 October in Montefalco, a guided bike ride on 18 October (about 18 km uphill and 11 km on the Assisi–Spoleto cycle route), and the first Frantoi Aperti Trail Run over 16 km between Campello sul Clitunno and Spoleto. Motorhome owners are offered farm stays with discounts via the PLEINAIRCLUB card.
