On June 1, 2026, German broadcaster MDR will air the first episode of the documentary series 'Crazy about Camping'. The episode features four campsites across Germany: in the Alps, on the North Sea coast, and in the Lüneburg and Dübener Heaths. Storylines include repairing a water tap in a motorhome of guests from Malta, setting up an awning for a camper van on the North Sea, and a retro trip with a Trabant car and caravan.
