During China's National Day holiday, Shandong province saw growth in self-drive tourism: Weihai provided motorhome parking, and the 72-km Jinxiu Wulian scenic road offered tourist infrastructure. Weihai, with 968 km of coastline, has built over 20 motorhome and camping facilities, including parking areas and parks. The Jinxiu Wulian road was included in the second national batch of transport-tourism integration demonstration cases.
