A Manitoba man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for setting fire to a motorhome with his partner trapped inside. The April 2024 incident involved Adam Bujak, 51, who poured gasoline on the woman, locked the door, and ignited the vehicle. The victim suffered burns to 35% of her body, escaped through a window, and spent three months in hospital. The judge noted Bujak showed no remorse or acceptance of responsibility.
