The author continues a series of reports on a motorhome journey from Venice through the Dolomites to Cortina d’Ampezzo. En route, he overnighted among prosecco vineyards in Valdobbiadene. Cortina, which co-hosted the 2026 Winter Olympics with Milan, features an 18th-century Basilica of Saints Philip and James and a tall bell tower. The town is popular with cyclists.
