An overview of the main motorhome formats has been published, differing in design, capacity and driving licence requirements. The material covers travel trailers, slide-in truck campers, Class A motorhomes, Class C motorhomes and camper vans. It notes that operating some types may require category C, BE or M1 licences, and that for comfortable use a motorhome should be equipped with a fixed shower, toilet, stove, refrigerator, fresh and grey water tanks of more than 50 and 70 litres respectively, a bed of at least 180×140 cm and auxiliary batteries.
