The author traveled through the Netherlands by camper van, visiting 11 provinces. The route included ferries to the islands of Texel, Terschelling, and Vlieland, as well as a camper van version of the Eleven Cities Tour. Special attention is given to camper sites with infrastructure: in Ootmarsum, built-in ramps for leveling and separate kitchen units are installed. In Valkenburg, the Den Driesch campsite has been closed due to a dispute with the municipality, but a renovated camper park on the Cauberg has opened.
