Camping Esterel Caravaning in Saint-Raphaël, opened on July 14, 1976, is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026. The family-run business, managed by Aurore Laroche, is recognized as the most titled 5-star campsite in Europe.
Over 50 years, more than 40 million euros have been invested in the site. The 19-hectare campsite offers 495 pitches, including 331 mobile homes and 164 for motorhomes and caravans. In 2025, it welcomed 22,478 guests, with annual revenue of 7.4 million euros.
New VIP accommodations have been introduced for the anniversary, including Duo for couples with a private spa and Safari for eight guests with a pool and jacuzzi. The site claims a positive carbon balance: 58 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year are offset by the absorption of 8,400 tonnes through vegetation.
