Mann-Filter has introduced three types of cabin filters for motorhomes: dust, activated carbon and biofunctional. The manufacturer recommends annual replacement, especially after long storage, to prevent mold growth.

Filtration specialist Mann+Hummel (MANN-FILTER brand) has expanded its range of cabin filters for motorhomes. The lineup includes three types: classic dust filters, activated carbon filters, and the biofunctional FreciousPlus version.

Activated carbon filters protect against odors and harmful gases (ozone, nitrogen oxides). The biofunctional FreciousPlus model additionally reduces allergens and inhibits bacterial growth. The manufacturer recommends annual filter replacement, especially after long periods of inactivity, to prevent mold growth in the air conditioning system.

Filters are available for common base chassis, including Fiat Ducato, Mercedes Sprinter and Volkswagen Crafter.

MANN-FILTER recommends checking cabin air filters in motorhomes

MANN-FILTER advises motorhome owners to check and replace the cabin air filter before the start of the season. Replacing the filter, especially with activated carbon or FreciousPlus models, can improve interior air quality, which is important after long periods of inactivity. The company offers filters for most European platforms, including Fiat Ducato and Mercedes Sprinter, and recommends replacement once a year or every 15,000 km.

No more long-term campers at Waidring campsite

The new operator of the 'Camping Steinplatte' site in Waidring, Tentoria GmbH, is terminating contracts with seasonal campers and shifting focus to short-term tourist stays. Annual agreements expire on September 30, 2026; campers may extend for one final season (€4,900 plus extras) but must vacate by end of October 2027. The local tourism board (TVB) called the move 'understandable' and said the planned upgrades align with current market demand.
