Three families from different countries decided to radically change their lives by selling their homes and setting off on a motorhome journey across Europe.
The Reichert family from Lower Franconia
The Reichert family from the Rhön region (Lower Franconia) sold their house and cars to embark on a year-long motorhome trip across Europe. The journey includes parents, a daughter, a cat, and two dogs. The goal is to test whether permanent emigration suits them.
The König family from Monheim
Kai and Josefine König from Monheim sold their house in Rhineland and have been traveling Europe in a motorhome with two children since 2020. They have visited over 30 countries, including Albania. After several years on the road, the family settled in Småland, Sweden.
Brazilian retirees
A Brazilian retired couple sold their apartment in Rio de Janeiro and have been living in a motorhome for six years, traveling across Europe. During this time, they have visited 25 countries. Their motorhome, named "Cariokinha," is equipped with bunk beds, a double bed above the cab, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Currently, they have temporarily paused their motorhome travels for a backpacking trip through Asia but plan to return to life on wheels in Europe.
