At the FIT 2026 International Tourism Fair, Alejandra Montelongo, Undersecretary of Municipal Tourism of Río Grande, presented the city's offerings for motorhome and motorcycle travellers. Río Grande positions itself as the land entry point to Tierra del Fuego province. The city is developing two public parking areas equipped with electricity, water refill, toilets and grey and black water disposal. It also promotes the Malvinas vigil, as Río Grande is the National Capital of the Vigil for the Malvinas.
