The Argentine province of Entre Ríos, together with the national tourism secretariat, is conducting a survey to develop motorhome, camper and caravan tourism. The pilot phase covered nine municipalities, including Villaguay and Gualeguaychú. According to a consultancy report, 30% of surveyed establishments already have infrastructure for such vehicles. Priorities include creating water supply points and wastewater treatment stations, as well as developing a regulatory framework to organize overnight stays and integrate travelers with the local economy.
