A family of four in Argentina commissioned a 4-metre-long, 2-metre-wide caravan with extra insulation and heating for Patagonia. A base model of these dimensions costs around 10 million pesos, with equipment such as air conditioning and a gas water heater priced separately. The caravan weighs about 750 kg, falls into category O1 and requires a B2 licence, its own number plate, homologation and third-party insurance. The maximum speed with a towed caravan in Argentina is 80 km/h, and tolls are charged at a higher category. A campsite pitch for the caravan and four people cost around 60,000 pesos per night.
