According to the PiNCAMP 2026 price analysis published by ADAC Hessen-Thüringen, an off-season camping night for a family of two adults and one child in Thuringia averages 32 euros. Only Schleswig-Holstein is cheaper at 31 euros, while Brandenburg is the most expensive at 41 euros; the national average is 36 euros. The analysis covered around 2,300 campsites and calculated the total price per night for a motorhome or caravan with a towing vehicle; tent pitches were excluded. July and August were defined as high season, with all other periods as off-season.
