The Sonnenkap campsite in Prenzlau is reviewing its season and planning new offerings, including the introduction of an AI assistant named 'Sunny' to handle phone calls. Since opening in 2021, the site has become a popular destination: in 2025, about 30,000 of Prenzlau's 60,000 visitors were campsite guests. In 2026, overnight stays are expected to reach 28,100, with a target of 31,000. The site offers 212 pitches for motorhomes and caravans, 30 tent pitches, 9 safari tents, 5 cyclist cabins, and 9 small holiday homes. The AI assistant 'Sunny' was introduced due to a staff member's long-term absence and already handles about 50 inquiries about availability per day. A mini-golf course is planned for 2026 or 2027.
