62-year-old Begoña has been living in a motorhome for four years in the parking lot of the Son Hugo municipal sports centre in Palma de Mallorca. She estimates that around 180 people live in the same car park and use the sports centre's facilities for washing. Before moving into a motorhome, she spent six months sleeping in a conventional car, and the first motorhome she rented for about 250 euros leaked. Begoña says she neither chose nor wants this lifestyle and is looking for permanent housing, but temporary employment contracts have hindered her search.
