A family embarked on a 9-day campervan trip to Hakodate in October. They brought a double down quilt instead of two sleeping bags, and prepared a microwave, fridge, and umbrella cover. The itinerary was not fully planned, but must-do items were set: shio ramen, seafood, night views from Mount Hakodate, and yakitori bento from Lucky Pierrot and Hasegawa Store. Ferry tickets were booked in advance; a free ticket won at the Tokyo Camper Show 2026 was used for the return leg.
