Day seven of a 19-day Hokkaido campervan trip with two dogs. At Cape Kiritappu, reached by a 15-minute walking trail, three wild sea otters were observed. At Kiritappu campsite, trash bags cost 50 yen each and checkout requires returning a numbered ticket. At Mashu Onsen roadside station, the dog run is rented for 15 minutes per group; at Himawari Onsen, admission is 500 yen per person with no shampoo or body wash provided. The night was spent at Memanbetsu roadside station, where the dog run operates from 9:00 to 17:00.
