Texas RV Park Owner Sues City Over Floodway Ban

The San Mateo County Harbor District (SMCHD) executed the remaining three years of the initial lease term with Pillar Point Harbor RV Park. The tenant has satisfied all requirements and is in full compliance. The monthly lease payment was increased by 3.8%.

Parking lots at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, California, are occupied by RVs instead of surfers, prompting a petition from photographer Brian Feulner with nearly 1,200 signatures. The petition calls for ending vehicle squatting, cleaning up contaminated lots, and restoring fair access. City officials are seeking a permit to close the lots overnight.

John Delira-Alires, 42, was arrested and charged with second-degree kidnapping after a police pursuit ended with a PIT maneuver that caused the RV to roll over and catch fire. All occupants, including a child, were evacuated without injuries.

Ohio-based Remote Vans has appointed Andrew Cooley, co-founder of Storyteller Overland, as president. Cooley will oversee national sales, dealer relations, strategic partnerships, customer experience, product strategy, service network development, and long-term growth. He will also help shape future vehicle layouts and features.

The Washington County (Iowa) Board of Supervisors approved a developmental review, inspection and code enforcement agreement between the City of Riverside and Washington County for a Blackjack Beach RV & Water Resort project. The project includes more than 150 RV parking spots and a water park of over 70,000 square feet with water slides, a lazy river and pools. Construction will proceed after building inspection services review the site plan, with annexation expected to take about six months.

According to data from the InteractRV dealer network, which represents more than half of the RV market, dealerships gaining ground in 2026 are not those with the biggest ad budgets but those focusing on fundamentals. The top 10% of dealers generate 4.5 times more leads and turn inventory 54% faster than others. Key factors include transparent pricing, complete listings with photos, and quick response times, especially after hours when 54% of shoppers browse.
