A section of Cherokee County 22 between Alabama Belle and Cowan Creek Bridge was closed this morning as crews responded to an RV fire and widespread grass fires. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Centre Fire Department and Spring Creek Fire Department responded, with Cherokee County EMA on scene. The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic control.

Recreation USA donates $100 per camper sold to Kind Keeper at Myrtle Beach RV Expo

The Myrtle Beach RV Expo runs October 21–25 at Recreation USA, 5031 Dick Pond Rd., Myrtle Beach, SC. Recreation USA has partnered with Kind Keeper Animal Rescue; $100 from each camper sold goes directly to the rescue. Admission, parking and lunch from 11:00am to 2:00pm are free every day of the event.
