An RV caught fire on Interstate 95 in New London, Connecticut, on Saturday afternoon. The fire occurred near Exit 82A on the northbound side and had spread to grass and woods along the highway by the time first responders arrived. The blaze was contained with mutual aid from the Waterford Fire Department. No injuries were reported, and travel in the area was impacted.

Papago Vans, a Mesa, Arizona-based company, has unveiled a custom camper van built on a 2024 AWD Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a 170-inch wheelbase. The vehicle features Black Rhino wheels with Nitto Ridge Grappler all-terrain tires, a Van Compass Stage 4.3 suspension kit, a CAtuned front bumper with a Warn 12S winch, 400 W solar panels, and an 800 Ah SOK lithium battery bank with a 3,000 W inverter/charger. The interior includes a kitchen with a stainless steel sink and microwave, a bathroom with a shower and portable toilet, a queen-size bed, and a garage with two FVC pull-out trays rated for up to 500 lb (227 kg).

inTech RV has unveiled the 2027 Sol Eclipse travel trailer, featuring a completely redesigned interior while retaining its all-aluminum welded chassis and cage construction. The trailer measures 19 feet (5.8 meters) in length, 8.6 feet (2.6 meters) in width, and offers 6.6 feet (2 meters) of headroom. Dry weight ranges from 3,700 to 4,100 lbs (1,678 to 1,860 kg), with a maximum permissible weight of 4,800 lbs (2,177 kg). The floorplan is strictly for couples, with no third berth option.
