Restrictions on vehicle access to Ibiza have led to a sharp decline in caravans and motorhomes. According to the Consell de Ibiza, in May-June 2026 their number fell by 75.8% compared to the same period in 2024. In June 2026, 177 caravans arrived, versus 627 in June 2024.
The total number of vehicles arriving in June 2026 was 21,537, down 13% from June 2024 (24,756). The daily quota for summer 2026 has been reduced to 17,668 permits, 2,500 fewer than in 2025. In 2025, the drop in motorhomes was 54.2% compared to 2024.
