Spain's Directorate-General for Traffic (DGT) has updated its instruction for motorhomes and camper vans ahead of Holy Week. A new road sign, S-128, has been introduced to identify wastewater discharge points. Municipalities now have a legal basis to limit parking times or prohibit camping within their jurisdiction, except in designated areas. The technical inspection (ITV) schedule differs: for motorhomes (category M) it mirrors passenger cars, while for converted vans (category N) it is stricter, with annual and later semi-annual inspections.
