Spain's General Directorate of Traffic has updated the instruction regulating the parking of motorhomes and camper vans in cities. The document confirms the right of municipalities to restrict or prohibit the parking of these vehicles based on local ordinances, citing a 2018 Supreme Court ruling. Technical inspection deadlines have also been adjusted: category M motorhomes are exempt for the first four years, while converted category N vans must undergo it annually.
