Incheon authorities have announced amendments to the ordinance governing the metropolitan landfill campsite. The changes aim to improve booking efficiency and ease the burden on families with children.
The full refund period for cancellations will be extended from 2 to 7 days before check-in, which is expected to reduce the share of fake bookings, which reached 68% at some facilities. For large families, the additional fee for exceeding the base limit of 4 people will be abolished, cutting the cost for a family of 6 by 28% (from 35,000 to 25,000 won). A seasonal discount for off-peak periods will also be introduced.
The amendments are scheduled for approval by the city council in May-June 2026.
