Incheon revamps landfill campsite rules to curb fake bookings, boost family benefits

Incheon City announced amendments to the ordinance governing the capital area landfill campsite. The changes aim to reduce phantom reservations and expand benefits for families with multiple children. Currently, full refunds are available up to two days before arrival, leading to cancellation rates as high as 68%. The new rules will introduce a phased refund policy starting seven days before the stay. Families with multiple children will be exempt from extra fees for exceeding the base limit of four people, cutting the cost for a family of six from 35,000 to 25,000 won.
