China's State Council approves measures to boost motorhome consumption

The State Council General Office forwarded a document titled "Several Measures on Promoting Motorhome Consumption" from ten departments, including the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The measures require integrating motorhome campground space into national land spatial planning, building campgrounds at qualified tourist sites and along scenic routes, and adding motorhome parking with water, electricity and waste disposal at highway service areas. The policy also encourages development of new-energy motorhomes, specialised motorhome tourism routes, and stricter standards for campground operations and rental services.
