China's State Council has forwarded a document titled "Several Measures on Promoting Motorhome Consumption," drafted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and nine other departments. The document outlines nine policy measures covering the entire consumption chain: improving supply quality, streamlining registration and scrapping, driver training, ensuring road access and parking, developing campsites, expanding tourism products, improving rental services, increasing financial support, and implementing safety measures. Chinese authorities note that the motorhome fleet and market penetration remain low due to underdeveloped infrastructure and travel restrictions. Manufacturers, camping equipment suppliers, and tourism operators are expected to benefit.
