The B96 driving license code allows driving a motorhome with a trailer up to 4250 kg total weight without obtaining a C1 category. It costs 300–500 euros, compared to 1500–2000 euros for C1, and requires only a practical test. Standard B license limits the combined weight to 3500 kg, often leading to violations when buying a caravan.
