Volkswagen has announced a hybrid camper California Beach, which will debut at the end of the month at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf as a concept. Developed with Stuff Bubble, the model features two conceptual modules: a folding kitchen (120 x 44 x 47.5 cm, weighing less than 10 kg) and a bed module (12 kg, sleeping surface 200 x 134 cm). The company will also show the electric concept ID. California Cruise based on the ID. Buzz, a step toward a new generation of fully electric campers by 2028.
