What the package includes
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has introduced the Good Night package for the ID. Buzz, converting the electric vehicle into a compact camper for two. The kit includes a folding bed with a 2.0×1.2 m mattress, blackout curtains, ventilation grilles, a folding table and two chairs. It is compatible with all ID. Buzz versions, including short and long wheelbase, as well as the ID. Buzz Cargo.
Technology and price
The Overnight mode maintains climate control for up to 48 hours, while the V2L function supplies external devices with up to 2000 W via a 230 V socket. The package costs from 2600 euros in Germany. According to some sources, the price is 2989 euros including VAT, and in Spain it is 3355 euros. The package is not yet officially available in the Netherlands, and a launch in France is expected in autumn.
