Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has announced two premieres for Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf (August 28 – September 6). Developed with Stuff Bubble, a concept module set for the California Beach includes an inflatable kitchen measuring about 120 × 44 × 47.5 cm and weighing under 10 kg with a closed water circuit, plus an inflatable sleeping system of about 200 × 134 cm that weighs around 12 kg as a two-person bed or about 6 kg as a single. The modules can be quickly removed and stored outside the vehicle and can also be used in the Multivan. The second premiere is the ID. California Cruise, a concept camper based on the electric ID. Buzz; Volkswagen plans a phased expansion of its electric camper line-up through 2028.
