Type C Motorhome Launched Starting at 99,800 Yuan

Zhongheng has introduced a C-class motorhome based on the Jiangling Fushun chassis. It features a 2.0L diesel engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is under 6 meters in length, qualifying for a standard Chinese blue license plate. Equipment includes an awning, external stove, 133 L refrigerator, washing machine, 200 L fresh water tank, 100 L grey water tank, 48 V 15 kWh lithium battery, 6000 W inverter, and 900 W solar panels.

A tourist from Shenyang, Mr. Liu, filed a lawsuit against Chengdu Shengjinxiang Technology, operator of Xirui car rental, after the vehicle rented via Hello Chuxing lacked an operating license. The rental company denies the claims and has filed a counter-complaint for defamation. Hello Chuxing removed Xirui from its platform but stated it only provides information aggregation services and is not liable for disputes.

The vehicle is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery from CATL and a 1.5-litre petrol generator engine (H15RC) from Chongqing Xiaokang Power. The body length stays under 6 metres, allowing driving with a standard C1 licence. Passenger capacity options are 2, 4 or 6 people. Top speed is 90 km/h. The filing marks Changan's entry into the hybrid motorhome segment.
