Storyteller Overland has announced the Gear Mode 2027 camper van based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 with a 144-inch wheelbase and all-wheel drive. Production is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a starting price of $149,498. The two-person configuration features the GearShift modular system that converts the rear into a cargo bay for a motorcycle or bicycles, a sleeping area and a dining zone. Standard equipment includes lithium batteries over 4 kWh, a 2,000 W inverter and up to 1,500 W of solar; the ADV and MAX trims are priced from $171,478 and $187,493 respectively.
