German company Sealander from Kiel has introduced a hybrid camper that combines the functions of a caravan and a motorboat. The 2026/2027 model starts at €39,750, and with additional equipment it costs around €50,000.
The Sealander is classified as category D, accommodates up to six people, and can move on water using an outboard motor (electric or petrol) with 5 to 10 hp. No boat license is required. It can operate in wind force up to 4 Beaufort and wave height up to 0.3 meters.
Dimensions: 4.70 m long, 1.66 m wide, 1.92 m high. Total weight is 750 kg, allowing towing even with a small car without special license. Inside there is a panoramic roof, a folding roof, a table and two benches that convert into a bed measuring 205×151 cm. Optional extras include a shower, grill, solar panels, toilet and kitchen module.
