Revised plans for the expansion of Springwood Village holiday park in Kelso have been lodged with Scottish Borders Council after an initial bid was refused. Hendry Estates Ltd's earlier application for four new residential pitches was rejected over concerns about impact on landscape character and residential amenity. The new application seeks consent for two additional pitches in the central part of the park, omitting the two previously proposed near the entrance. The park has operated for more than 35 years and currently accommodates 80 residential caravans.
