A glossary has been published explaining terms newcomers encounter on campsites. It covers vehicle types including tourers, static caravans, twin-axle models, coachbuilts, A-class motorhomes and campervans. Pitch-related terms are defined: pitch, hook-up, hardstanding, serviced pitch and warden. The guide also lists water and waste terms (grey water, cassette toilet, Elsan point), weights and towing (MTPLM, payload, motor mover, noseweight) and kit and care (leisure battery, corner steadies, habitation check, awning, gas locker).
