Marcopolo, a major Brazilian bus manufacturer, has started deliveries of its first motorhome, the Nomade. Priced from R$1.65 million, it features a 3.8L Cummins diesel engine (175 hp), 6-speed Allison automatic transmission and 4x4 drivetrain. Gross weight of 8 tonnes requires a category C driving licence. Length 7.5 m, width 2.36 m, height 3.18 m. The interior includes a sliding wall system (slider) that expands the living area to 16 m². Equipment includes air conditioning, 360° cameras, lithium batteries (200–800 Ah), an external kitchen and a rear garage for a motorcycle. Production is in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul.
