The system uses three charging sources: external power, rooftop photovoltaics, and the vehicle alternator. According to Victron Energy specialist Eduardo Macedo, after a night of running a 24 V air conditioner, the batteries retained about 80% charge, with consumption around 2 kWh. The project also includes remote monitoring and a modular layout for easier diagnostics.

UK-based Taylored Campervans has introduced the Offtrail Flex, a camper van conversion built on the Volkswagen T7. The van features a pop-top roof with a 130 W solar panel, a flexible interior that seats five and sleeps four, and a lithium leisure battery with a Victron Orion charger. Pricing for the conversion starts at £20,950 including VAT; with a VW Transporter T7 2WD Commerce Pro supplied by the company, the price is £65,950.

British workshop VannyCampers from Bristol has converted a 2025 Volkswagen Crafter into the Newt camper with a full-width rear bathroom. This is the workshop's first fully self-built vehicle, and it is being raffled: tickets cost £6.97, with 39,999 tickets issued and the draw scheduled for 20 October 2026.

Swedish manufacturer Dovra has unveiled the RIG X-710 camper van, measuring 7.10 metres and positioned between the existing X-610 and X-750 models. It is based on a Mercedes Sprinter 4×4 with a 190 hp turbodiesel engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. All 2027 models, including the new addition, come standard with a 1,000 Ah Victron lithium battery bank, a 3,000 W inverter and an MPPT solar charger. Payload is 1,220 kg, fresh water capacity is 105 litres and waste water capacity is 95 litres. In Germany, prices start at €273,700; in the Netherlands, VAT and BPM are added.

ATC (Aluminum Trailer Company) plans to launch its first non-toy hauler fifth wheel, the HOM 38RL, in 2027. The RV features an all-aluminum welded frame with no wood, a length of 38 feet (11.5 meters), three slide-outs, and a 200-gallon (757-liter) freshwater tank. The energy system includes a Battle Born setup up to 6000W with a Victron inverter, up to 1,380W of solar, and up to 810Ah of lithium batteries. No release date or production timeline has been announced.

At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Concorde unveiled the new Centurion class with a modern oak interior, a large bathroom with macerator toilet and digital headlights; prices start at approximately 800,000 euros. Dicot Designs has unveiled Gale, a fully custom camper van built on a new 2026 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter AWD with a 144-inch wheelbase. The vehicle was designed for client Lauren and her dog Finn for extended travel and remote work. It features a 24V Victron electrical system with a 400Ah lithium battery bank, an Infinity Shower recirculating system, Rixen hydronic heating, a Nomadic X3 air conditioner, Starlink connectivity, a kitchen with a Dometic NRX 80-liter refrigerator, a workstation with laptop storage and USB charging, and a queen-size bed with a soy-based memory foam mattress. Exterior equipment includes a Flatline Van Co. front bumper with bull bar, a Warn VR EVO 12-S winch, a rear differential skid plate, 17-inch Method wheels with BFGoodrich KO3 all-terrain tires, a 50mm Evictus suspension lift, and a 50-inch Baja Designs LED light bar.

California-based OTG Vanworks has unveiled the Tremble, a motorhome built on a 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170 High Roof with all-wheel drive, designed for five people. The project follows the Concept B layout for the long-wheelbase version. The interior features three swiveling JMG seats, a kitchen block with a sink, microwave and Laveo dry toilet, as well as an electrically operated lift bed and a second sleeping area. The electrical system includes a 600 Ah Victron lithium battery and a 3000 W inverter.

Opus Camper has released a limited edition OP4 LE, a folding pop-up tent trailer with an air-inflated frame. The model weighs approximately 3,100 lbs dry and sleeps 4–6 people. Standard equipment includes a 2,000W Victron inverter, Truma Combi heater, ICECO dual-zone fridge, and a slide-out kitchen with a four-burner stove. The trailer uses a Cruisemaster DO35 articulating hitch, which is incompatible with traditional weight-distribution systems. Tongue weight is around 525 lbs as tested, potentially challenging for some SUVs. Setup time is 14 minutes.

LiTime has introduced the LiHeat 12V 320Ah ComFlex LiFePO4 battery, designed to connect with compatible RV and marine power systems via CAN, RS485, RV-C, and NMEA 2000 protocols, as well as with Victron devices. The battery offers 4.096 kWh of storage, supports up to 16 parallel units, and includes features like self-heating, adjustable SOC reserve, and OTA updates. Available now in the U.S., with European availability expected in mid-September.

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) 12V batteries are replacing traditional AGM batteries as auxiliary power sources in camper vans, motorhomes and boats. Compared to AGM, they offer greater usable capacity, lower weight and longer service life. When choosing a battery, users should consider actual power consumption, the battery management system (BMS) and compatibility with chargers, alternators and solar panels. Brands such as Victron Energy, Pylontech and BYD have helped build trust in this technology.

Italian firm Atlantis unveiled the Carbon 4x4, an off-road version of its carbon monocoque motorhome, based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 419 CDI 4x4, priced from €149,667.

Brazilian bus maker Marcopolo launched its first 4x4 motorhome Nomade. Prices start at R$ 1.65 million, sliding walls expand living space to 16 m².

Alaskan Campers, known for over 65 years for its rigid slide-in campers, has introduced its first fully composite model with a fixed high roof — the HS 640. The camper weighs 1,500 pounds (about 680 kg) dry, making it lighter than traditional models and suitable for half-ton pickups. Construction features sandwich panels of PIR foam and fiberglass, an aluminum frame with PVC, ensuring lightness and energy efficiency. The interior was designed with a yacht designer: aluminum cabinets, bamboo countertops, a Lagun table. Sleeping area includes an RV queen mattress, L-shaped sofa, wardrobe, space for a Trelino composting toilet and a shower. Electrical system includes 400W solar panels, Expion batteries up to 972 Ah, Victron 3000W inverter. Base price starts at $47,495.

AEONrv, a Reno-based manufacturer of all-season, off-road adventure vehicles, announced its 2026 lineup, including the updated AEONv and the new AEONrv EXT with an extended wheelbase. The EXT is built on the 2026 Ford Transit AWD chassis with an 11,000-pound GVWR and 178-inch wheelbase, increasing towing capacity, cargo space, and off-grid range. The interior is entirely wood-free, using PET structural foam core from recycled bottles, reducing weight by up to 50%. The all-electric energy system includes Victron NG lithium batteries, Victron Orion XS charging, and up to 1,200 watts of rooftop solar. Pricing starts at $229,500 for the AEONv and $239,500 for the AEONrv EXT, with orders available immediately.

Italian manufacturer Wingamm has updated its compact Oasi 540.1 motorhome for the US market. Built on a RAM ProMaster chassis (the American Fiat Ducato), it accommodates 2–3 people. The body uses a single molded rear panel to prevent water and dust ingress. Standard features include underfloor heating, a Victron energy management system, up to 700 W alternator charging, and a fully electric interior. The base price is $192,500 (about €167,000), below the average for comparable US models.

From June 4 to 7, Râșnov (Romania) hosts CamperVan Fest, featuring the world's first Victron Microgrid system that connects multiple photovoltaic parks to power the event entirely with solar energy. Entry is 500 lei per vehicle (up to 2 adults with children). Over 40 workshops are offered, including yoga, first aid, outdoor cooking, test drives, and children's activities.

Brazilian manufacturer Marcopolo Motorhome delivered the first unit of its Nomade 4x4 motorhome on May 23, 2026. The 7.5-meter vehicle is powered by a 175 hp Cummins diesel engine with an Allison automatic transmission. A side slide-out adds 16 m² of living space. The Victron energy system includes lithium batteries and flexible solar panels providing up to 800 W.
