Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has introduced the Good-Night package (Gute-Nacht-Paket in German sources) for the ID.Buzz electric van, turning it into a camper for spontaneous overnight stays. The kit includes a double bed with folding mattress (2.0 x 1.2 m), window blinds, a table, two chairs and ventilation grilles. A Multiflexboard storage system is also included, according to Autobild.
A key feature is the 'Übernachten' mode (called Sleepover in some sources), which maintains the cabin temperature for up to 48 hours. The Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function supplies 230 V appliances with up to 2000 W. However, prolonged climate control use reduces driving range.
Pricing varies by source: most state from €2600, while Porsche Holding reports €3252. Orders open from June 2026. The package is available for all passenger versions of the ID.Buzz with any wheelbase and seat configuration. It does not replace a full camper: there is no kitchen, water system or toilet, and a California camper version for the ID.Buzz is not yet offered.
