Japanese motorhome manufacturer Toi Factory announced on January 15 that it has become the exclusive distributor in Japan for the Clesana waterless toilet, developed by a Swiss company. The toilet uses no water or chemicals, sealing waste with a special multi-layer film. It is designed for use in motorhomes, off-grid locations, disaster preparedness, and caregiving facilities.
