Bürstner has overhauled the pricing strategy for its Papillon camper van after criticism over hidden costs. The base price rises to about €44,000, but now includes swivel captain's chairs, a 100 Ah lithium battery, diesel heater, and preparation for a cool box and gas cooker. Previously mandatory option packages have been scrapped; buyers can now select individual extras. The move makes the final price more transparent, though the entry-level cost has increased.
